The Grand Junction Cubs have been playing some good games of ball the past week. On
Wednesday of last week the Cubs played the Tennessee Rats and lost by the score of 9 to 5. The
following day the Cubs won from the Rats by the score of 3 to 1 and yesterday they took on
Callender for a cleaning--8 to 0. The locals are playing good ball and the fans of the town
should give them loyal support, as they deserve all they get. We would like to see the boys in
new uniforms. What do you say?
