The Old Ballplayers of Chicago and Evanston, will meet at a luncheon this afternoon at Parkway Steakhouse, 410 E 47th St. to complete plans for the "Al Smith Citation" to be held in honor of the White Sox star outfielder. Civic leaders, professional men and women from all parts of the city are expected for the luncheon, first of two events honoring Al Smith. Committee in charge of affair includes Maurice Wiggins, Nick Roberts, Ernie Banks, Bingo DeMoss, Carter Wilson, Joe Green, John Donaldson, Bobby Anderson and Albert McEndree.
